ABSTRACT

Through a clinical situation, the author demonstrates the essential path for psychoanalytical treatment shown in Prof. Anne Brun’s paper for patients suffering from severe forms of depression (with melancholic incorporation aspects). Uncovering the early relationships and encounters with the primary objects enables the psychoanalytical process to release the incorporation processes and to stem the adhesive identifications. Transference is essential to enable subjective appropriation and release the subject from the sadistic superego grasp. The author finishes with remarks and questions about Prof. Anne Brun’s paper that raises clinical and research interests.
