ABSTRACT

This chapter delves into addressing the educational and psychosocial needs of street-involved children. The collaborative approach embraced involves educational institutions and social services. This approach places a strong emphasis on actively engaging university students and educational authorities, providing them with practical experience and promoting social consciousness. The primary objective of these efforts is to establish a sustainable, all-encompassing education system for at-risk children and university students. This is achieved through close collaboration with a diverse stakeholder network. In a comprehensive examination, this chapter shines a light on innovative strategies crafted to tackle the multifaceted challenges confronting street-involved children in Istanbul.
