ABSTRACT

In this concluding chapter, the editors of the Routledge Media Education Futures Post-Pandemic provide an overview and new insights on media education during the pandemic and how we can apply a sustainable approach that is human-centered to media education for its future. This chapter offers an analysis of the similarities and differences between the chapters as well as the applications of the intercultural dialog. As the closing chapter of this edited volume, it states the steps and suggestions that media educators and stakeholders could take to build upon what we have learned, and are continuing to learn, during the struggles of coping with the COVID-19 pandemic to advance media education for all.
