ABSTRACT
The entry traces the growth and spread of Hinduism in Northeast India, from the early medieval period to late twentieth centuries. It is, thus, a historical survey that presents the key moments in the career of Hinduism and its interconnected networks with Buddhism and Islam in northeast India.
