ABSTRACT
This chapter provides details of Goa Institute of Management's community engagement initiative ‘GiveGoa’ commenced a decade ago to address the development of responsible managers. Based on service-learning pedagogy, the central aim of this initiative was to sensitize students and to help them learn by taking responsibility for the well-being of the less privileged sections of society. The chapter describes the genesis, design, execution and impact of the GiveGoa initiative.
