ABSTRACT
Scientists, doctors, economists, politicians and everyone who cares about the well-being of their own country, and the entire planet, have to rise to the challenge. The response to COVID-19 has had a disastrous impact on many branches of the economy, industry and sometimes the entire structure of countries. Every organization, however small, functions in a specific environment. Its scope is determined by the nature of the organization, its purpose and activities. All members of a given organization should be aware that defining the context of its operation is of key significance and has a direct or indirect impact on the operation of the organization. A significant advantage of ISO standards is certain common elements and requirements, which are defined almost identically. Both ISO 22301:2019 and ISO 9001:2015 have such common elements. Taking into account drastic changes that can occur anytime, organizations with the ISO 9001 or ISO 22301 management systems implemented should strive to improve their defense potential.
