ABSTRACT

The use of immersive technology can enhance communication between knowledge holders (clinicians/specialists, educators, patients/families, non-experts). This chapter aims to propose a framework to support immersive technology-based training and medical support for students. A description of the system’s purpose is provided in this chapter, followed by instructions on how to create an operational concept, analyze stakeholders, illustrate use cases by using sequence diagrams, demonstrate that the system meets specifications, describe the physical and logical architecture of the system, illustrate traceability, illustrate parametric diagrams, systems architecture (physical and logical), allocation, and test planning.
