ABSTRACT
This literacy autobiography features an ethnic Naxi female student’s journey from Naxi to Mandarin Chinese and foreign languages. It highlights the journey to becoming was four years old. I was so interested
multilingual and literate in multiple languages as filled with intense struggles, especially for those from rural ethnic communities.
