ABSTRACT

Human factor is one of the most crucial factors in any organization, regardless of the type and nature. There is scant research to develop continuous improvement model for human factors in organizations. This chapter attempts to discuss the position of the human factor in the operations system of any organization and then describes a continuous improvement model developed for the human factor from an Islamic perspective. Further, it explains the implementation process of the Nīyyah-‘Amal-Muḫāsaba-Ṣhukr (NAMS) Cycle, a Continuous Improvement Model for human factors. This chapter also highlights the process through which all human activities will be converted to ‘Ibādah (worship) to Allāh (swt). For the writing of this chapter, the author has consulted different internationally referred journal articles, reputed books on the similar subject matter, PhD dissertations, and Qur’anic and Sunnatic texts and explanations.
