ABSTRACT

Second Year UCD Architectural Design Studio participated in a late stage of the Rethinking the Crit pilot. Initially, the intention was to participate in the project and to contribute by testing the methodology and gathering feedback. However, due to the timing of the participation coinciding with COVID restrictions–enforced online teaching, we adapted and developed the methodology for use online. This in turn enabled us to expand and develop the space of, and participation in, the design studio. This will be explored through the description and reflection on two online adaptations of the round-table format that ran in UCD Architecture in Spring 2021.
