ABSTRACT
In this chapter, Braswell identifies a spectrum of views on physician aid in dying from conservative to more liberal views. Braswell focuses in particular on different terminology, noting the tension between the terms “voluntary active euthanasia” and “physician-assisted suicide” as it relates to issue of autonomy.
