ABSTRACT

The goal of this case study is to discuss the harmonious growth strategy of a small dairy company whose operations develop in line with the sustainable agriculture and milk processing philosophy. Small scale of production and a holistic vision of company management help in maintaining top quality of traditional dairy products. Klimeko is a good example of an enterprise in which the lifestyle and environmental values cherished by the owner are translated into business management practice. The owner aims to build an enterprise that operates in harmony with nature, both internally and externally in relations with the environment. Company’s products are distributed by owners of organic stores who share the values of the owner of Klimeko. Consumer ethnocentrism relies in this case on trust of healthy Polish food and readiness to pay a higher price for it.
