ABSTRACT
Political events, from the Arab Spring which happened 2010 to the more recent protests rallying against abortion restrictions occurring in Texas in 2021, continue to develop how online platforms are helping to organize large numbers of people. This chapter explores the terms “networked politics” and “networked social movements” which have become significant in the study of political protests and collective action in the digital age.
