ABSTRACT
Through an Endarkened Feminist Epistemological lens (Dillard, 2006), this chapter explores belonging and community for one sista-scholar in pursuit of a Ph.D. at a historically white institution. The author shares insights about the value and impact of belonging throughout doctoral matriculation through personal narrative.
