ABSTRACT

Through the experience of the psychotic field in a large group, Guelfo Margherita, Alexandre Patouillard, Federico Pone, Salvatore Rotondi, and Loredana Vecchi observe a thought structuring, without dissolving the field, that can be brought to the formulation of scientific hypothesis - individuating therefore the point of observation from which can be perceived the co-presence, separated but deeply correlated, of experiencing the vital emotions of the field (container) and constructing the hypothesis swimming within it (contents). It opens a glimpse to the separation of the two modalities of being: the asymmetric, information, rationality, scientific method and language of interpretation; and the symmetric, entropy, irrationality, of oneiric, poetic, psychotic language, of intuition according to Matte Blanco’s terms. The authors present clinical material related to understanding how communication is structured within and between the two levels the authors present clinical material.
