ABSTRACT

The growth of stand-alone nonprofit/philanthropy programs and even entire schools coupled with the development of accreditation programs for those programs and schools shows that somehow, despite being thrown in the deep end, our field is making it work. But as a general rule the book is divided into three parts: They are emerging trends in nonprofits and society, emerging trends in nonprofit curriculum, and emerging trends in nonprofits studies and academia. The chapters discusses the nonprofit education gain a sense of where their programs fit in the broader landscape and how their programs may need to adapt to the changing landscape of nonprofits as a field, nonprofits with the university, and nonprofits within larger society.
