ABSTRACT

In this chapter, the author aims to deconstruct the fields of sexuality and reproduction in relation to the foundational and unresolved tension between guarantee and demand for freedom, on the one hand, and the demand for recognition through regulation and definition, on the other. A tension that has been put at the centre of feminism of sexual difference and that represents one of the main fields of confrontation of legal feminism precisely because of the risks of the juridification of life.
