ABSTRACT
Seismic shifts affecting all aspects of journalism over the past two decades have forced journalists to consider future career options. In this chapter, former journalists who have successfully moved into other communications positions share insights and tips for the media professional contemplating a career change. The most logical opportunities are in the related fields of public relations and corporate communications. And some have tried their hands at entrepreneurship.
