ABSTRACT
This chapter addresses the international action by the Torres Strait Eight climate litigation raising existential questions about the values of the CBD highlighting the need for concerted action under the CBD to better protect Indigenous Peoples’ genetic resources, biological diversity and cultural knowledge from the ravages of climate change and global warming.
