ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on two core aspects of professional practice: working ethically and reflective practice, which although distinct, overlap considerably. Focusing on each in turn, the chapter offers definitions and an overview of the benefits that both approaches can bring to the practitioner, their clients or customers and the profession at large. This chapter then turns to the application of these ideas in practice, describing practical approaches that can help organisational psychologists to develop ethical maturity to help to resolve ethical dilemmas, and frameworks that can help professionals to deepen their reflections.
