ABSTRACT

This chapter presents case studies on different groups of community languages schools; the changes in the communities and teaching and the challenges they have faced. The impact of COVID-19 and the switch to online and blended learning have had a great impact. The importance of language-specific professional learning and the formation of teacher networks across schools has also been an important outcome. The case studies also show how student projects and events can increase engagement and build on the innovative resources that teachers can use.
