ABSTRACT
This chapter serves as an introduction to this section. It draws on the theme of methodological mobilities as emblematic of how feminist transdisciplinary research shifts, dislocates, and relocates across different disciplinary spaces. Chapters in this section provide neologisms that enable us to bring together new forms of methodological practice. They highlight the immobility of some knowledge fields that are highly wedded to notions of objectivity. They also illustrate how feminist thinking acts as a companion in transdisciplinary research and yet also argue persuasively for feminism to expand its own repertoire of methodological approaches. Overall, each of the chapters in this section offers the reader deep insight into contemporary methodologies of feminist transdisciplinary research and praxis that take the field forward in innovative and creative ways.
