ABSTRACT

A few words to conclude this book and start experimenting what has been suggested here. All types of museums are invited to take advantage of the newly developed BFM approach by exploring innovative ways to design visitors’ experiences. The project is intended to be a practical aid to museums interested in wellbeing-related activities. The first is to develop practices similar to those available in Canada and United Kingdom, enabling family physicians to prescribe museum visits. The second is to share the proven procedures and information collected with interested museums. However, the BFM approach considers museum personnel as a key element in developing rewarding visitor experiences. The BFM approach is under development and an on-going project. Each of the proposed contributions may help to define it better.
