SDG 3 reflects the complex systems and interconnections between health improvement, health protection and health services within the public health domains. In particular, the management strategies and tactics are of paramount importance to the provision of healthcare services at all levels of care in healthcare facilities within the sectors of the public and private continuum. The stress on evidence-based healthcare that is of high efficiency and effectiveness will require the optimal management strategies for good health and well-being to enhance the experiences of customers and patients. In addition to the finance and manpower requirements, management of information, adoption of technology, development of medicine, vaccines and medical products and modes of service delivery are essential in the assurance of quality and safety of healthcare to the population. The chapter will discuss these strategies on how to enhance responsiveness and efficiency of health systems and facilitate the achievement of sustainable service delivery at the community health level regarding the selected SDG 3 targets.
