ABSTRACT

This chapter brings the book to a conclusion. Its manuscripts have brought together diverse authors emerging from all continents with the view to overturn disablism and racism. It interrogates issues raised by various authors. In this chapter, we argue that the authors in this book come to disability and postcolonial spaces driven by an urge to eradicate oppression, theorise resistance and enact change. This praxis – the blurring of activism and theorisation, marks this book as a particularly powerful offering to postcolonial and disability studies.
