ABSTRACT

When working in schools, you never truly know what may happen on any given day. While ASE has been demonstrated as a tool in working with students, faculty, and administrators in various capacities to increase systemic functioning, it can also be used as a modality in crisis response. Chapter 8 reviews crises from the prevention, response, and recovery perspective. Intervention efforts from an ASE perspective are reviewed, impacting the school at the system level with students, faculty, staff, and families.
