ABSTRACT

At the time of the pandemic, the world has become mostly online. Correspondingly, the students got accustomed to use the social media platforms, which may be used to supplement the conventional learning techniques. Precisely created social media learning platforms can support learning with suitability of time, place, and speed and better accommodate the needs of learners. The present work follows an exploratory approach to investigate the role of social media–based tools to support learning during the pandemic. A comparative analysis has also been done to identify the features of prominent commercially available social media-based educational tools. Implications of these tools as a valuable learning resource have been identified.
