ABSTRACT

To contribute to a critical discussion on the various scenes, it seemed appropriate to write a book that also considers the voices of the protagonists of those years. Each chapter will be associated with a conversation with a designer, collective member, politician, local administrator, activist or scholar. The third conversation is with Engelbert Lütke-Daldrup, an urban planner. From 1995 to 2005, he was a deputy and city planning officer for Leipzig; from 2006 to 2009, permanent State Secretary in the Federal Ministry for Transport, Building and Urban Development. From 2014 to 2017, he held the position of State Secretary in the State of Berlin. From March 2017 to the end of September 2021, Lütke-Daldrup was CEO of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH.
