ABSTRACT
To contribute to a critical discussion on the various scenes, it seemed appropriate to write a book that also considers the voices of the protagonists of those years. Each chapter will be associated with a conversation with a designer, collective member, politician, local administrator, activist or scholar. The second conversation is with Benjamin Foerster-Baldenius. Benjamin Foerster-Baldenius is Professor of Cohabitation at Städelschule Frankfurt, studied architecture in Berlin and Copenhagen, founded the Institute for Applied Building Arts in Berlin in 1997 and has been a member of the raumlaborberlin family of architects since 1999, who contributed to the 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th Architecture Biennale in Venice and have just received the golden Lion for their work “instances of urban practice”.
