ABSTRACT

This chapter will address how staged intimacy can be choreographed through an impulse to action process, and how the actors can fill the choreography with their imagination while honoring boundaries and managing the fluidity of consent. It will explain how this process can be brought to life in the moment by applying the technique of the Magic IF. This chapter will also explain how the choreography becomes a container of movement that works for the shifting of boundaries and consent but can only come to life through the power of the actor's imagination.
