ABSTRACT

It has been more than a year since the Covid-19 outbreak, and still the world is not finding any reliable cure of it. This virus has changed human life and social behaviours for the worse. People are forced to live in their houses and to follow social distancing norms. In this unprecedented situation healthcare workers are serving the infected persons by risking their lives. Many of them got infected and some of them lost their lives. Healthcare workers are serving the society beyond human capacity.

Despite of their incomparable services, they are being stigmatised and facing several attacks. In this Article the authors make an attempt to point out the personal and social problems faced by healthcare workers due to Covid-19 as well as to analyse the laws and policies framed in relation to healthcare workers. Authors have also given some useful suggestions to combat the current problem.
