ABSTRACT

This chapter provides four summaries. The first moves away from college admissions in the United States and demonstrates how other countries approach the college admissions process. How other countries face this challenging concern provides guidance on how we might re-consider the admissions processes in our own colleges and universities. The second focus is on changes in the environments in which colleges and universities find themselves today, after pandemics; scandals; complaints about racial, ethnic, immigrant, and gender issues in college admissions; and an inability to test applicants in traditional ways, third, some general themes raised in the book are discussed and raised in ways in which they might be implemented. Finally, some prognostications are presented about the future of college admissions testing.
