ABSTRACT

Mobile communication is the most rapidly expanding communication technology in the world (Gergen, 2008). The 12 studies in this book have explored the usage and implications of mobile communications in various spheres and contexts, such as Bangladesh, China, India, Japan, and South Korea. In this concluding chapter, we summarize and highlight the significant arguments indicated by these studies and propose our suggestion for future research direction regarding mobile communication in the context of Asian culture and society.
