ABSTRACT

This paper aims at using travel vlogs that contain the places of cultural importance and showcase the indigenous heritage of that locality, to sensitise the learners at Master of Computer Application level towards the need of channellising their technology for preserving tangible and intangible cultural heritage. The target learners have been oriented to collect, select and analyse travel vlogs presenting the experience of the travellers to the various places which bear the rich cultural aesthetics of that locality. These materials have been used in the classroom for the discussion of those elements of culture and evaluation of language competency, and suggestions have been invited from learners for bettering the quality of the vlogs (both linguistic and technical).
