From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, this subcontinent vis-a-vis West Bengal is fortunate to hold distinct cultural heritage. Due to poor maintenance and natural phenomena, many of the heritage sites are getting damaged. Hence, preservation of those is need of the hour. Since 1990, digital technology has been showing a great surge, such as virtual reality technology has made significant achievements in cultural heritage preservation. This study aims to identify the sites required to be digitally documented and devise suitable techniques for preserving heritage of Bengal.
