ABSTRACT

India's villages are communities with countless relationships of distinct, lavish, and living cultural ties. Villages need specialized solutions. In a novel effort for village Gram Panchayat Spatial Development Plan by Ministry of Panchayati Raj, a 25-year planning proposal was developed. This involved stakeholder interviews, presentations, site visits, and inventories backed by anthropological studies by the students and researching members through community participation. Best practices required for improvement through community engagement were an outcome of student-community and university-community engagement.
