ABSTRACT

The book Transnational Challenges and Perspectives in Second Language and Bilingual Teacher Education highlights the importance of respecting each student’s unique background and experiences, tailoring instruction accordingly, and prioritizing diverse literacy practices. An interdisciplinary approach between linguistic and educational researchers is necessary to enhance the role of language in education. Improving ELT and bilingual teacher education is crucial for creating an inclusive and effective learning environment for all students. Prioritizing diversity, inclusivity, and a student-centered approach in the classroom can have a significant and positive impact on students’ lives.
