ABSTRACT

Intrapreneurship, business model innovation and competition are all related ideas that promote corporate success. A company's employees are given the freedom to take leadership, come up with innovative ideas and effect change when intrapreneurship is encouraged. Competitiveness is the capacity to successfully compete and prosper in the market, which necessitates continual innovation, distinction and advancements (Porter, 1986). Innovation in business refers to the development and use of novel concepts, ideas, goods, services or procedures that lead to value creation and a competitive advantage (Teece, 1986; De Massis et al., 2022). Intrapreneurship supports business model innovation by encouraging personnel to think creatively, take measured risks and contribute to the competitiveness of the company by developing and implementing novel solutions (Pinchot, 1985). By allowing an organization to respond to market changes, differentiate itself from competitors and enjoy sustainable growth, business model innovation in turn improves an organization's capacity to compete.
