ABSTRACT

Through a spirited multi-temporal conversation, this chapter claims that there cannot be architectural labor that is not based on autonomy, sovereignty, and a revolt against its capitalist behavior. Channeling voices of scholars, activists, philosophers, architects from diverse latitudes and times, and a young group of thinkers from Abya Yala, it invites us to con-movernos, to move and to be touched, to feel, to revolt against doing. The chapter builds on the legacy of a diverse group of people, from indigenous thinkers to counter-institutional scholars, as much as from the experience of subjects inspired by them. Altogether, their voices resonate, creating an echo of voices that blend with each other while inviting us to revolt and resist but also to care and feel.
