ABSTRACT

This chapter considers the intersections of sacred ecology, sacred sexuality and ecosexuality while applying terrapsychological principles like ancestry, waking dreams, direct experience, story and imagination to the element of water, a university campus and a fitness pole. It explores being enchanted by love and trusting the cosmic flow of water to heal a world distorted by the core poison of separation. Terrasexuality unites ecology, spirituality and sexuality in a way that can simultaneously repair our separation within all three disciplines and has the potential to exponentially renew humanity. Weaving aspects of ecofeminism, tantric philosophy, a personal love story and dance, “Mother Earth to Loving Water” is about making love with the whole world. Inspired by an evolving love affair with the ocean, this chapter explores other ways of relating, as well as other ways of knowing, speaking and feeling. Terrasexuality is an enchantavistic exploration that could shape our ecological relationships in a fluid dance through the magical power of creation.
