ABSTRACT
In this chapter, called “Finishing Paintings,” the author, a creative herself, narrates her personal journey from art lover to artist, and the lessons learned in the process. Formally learning the skills and techniques is the first step. Creating structure and space and time blocks for art and signing off are essential steps before shamelessly exposing your work and coming out as an artist.
