ABSTRACT

This chapter attempts to assess the actions taken by NATO and the national armed forces in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, with particular emphasis on the situation in the Visegrad Group countries. The analysis was based on the available literature on the subject, legal acts, media reports and several expert interviews with soldiers and civilian personnel of the armed forces from Poland and Slovakia, as well as other persons working or serving in uniformed services, who cooperated with soldiers in pandemic-related activities.
