Fiona received a notification from her job search site that Ed Stoppard, a former colleague and curriculum designer at Gizmo, had a new job at Joyne. “Joyne?” she thought. “What company is that? It must be something really special if Ed left Gizmo after so many years.” She was intrigued and wanted to find out more. After a little searching, she learned that Joyne was a new business that Rob Jackson was starting in Silicon Valley. Jackson was a highly respected executive at Gizmo where Fiona once worked as a customer trainer. He had always been a visionary. Fiona couldn’t wait to find out more about his next big idea.
