ABSTRACT

The project aims to undertake a field study that provides mitigation measures for fire risks that threaten the urban heritage, the significance of the site, and its attributes. The study interlinks the value assessment of the site, the understanding of the current capacities of the stakeholders, risk assessment, and the different needs of the community through interventions aimed at reducing weaknesses and improving the partnership between stakeholders. This research attempts to create awareness among a broad audience, including academics, practitioners, and emergency responders.
