ABSTRACT

Each project comes with certain risks; these can be limited or used, but it is necessary to identify them. In the literature on the subject, the risk management process is described very broadly, taking both methods and types of risk into account. This chapter aims to show which types of risk that project teams take into account in project management and what impact the COVID-19 epidemic has had on future risk management. For this purpose, analyses of conducted surveys and current entrepreneurs’ situations were used. The results of the research allowed us to show how risk is perceived, to which risks particular attention is being paid, and whether the identification and analysis of risk is carried out before the start of a project. The analysis showed the main problems that were caused by the COVID-19 epidemic and allowed us to formulate recommendations for similar crisis situations.
