ABSTRACT

Since its beginning, knowledge management has been interrelated with the development of different industries for the purpose of raising the competitiveness of organizations worldwide. Currently, with technological development, this concept has been directed toward the digitization and adoption of technologies, making the so-called technological revolution undeniable, although without making a clear vision centered on the human being. Due to the aforementioned, this chapter identifies the variables that correlate the concept of knowledge management with technological prospective, from the perspective of the human being as a leader. The results refer to academic training as a key source of knowledge management, in addition to experiences and technological forms as key elements for the development of the human being as a leader. This study is useful for academics, researchers, and managers from different industries who are interested in knowing the aspects that articulate both approaches for a possible implementation.
