ABSTRACT

This qualitative research examines, through analysis of documentary sources, the connections between the different areas pertinent to sustainability such as environmental regulations, the current international vision, education, and the application to the area of knowledge and its management. All of this considering that the initiatives the human being is developing are due to his need for self-realization in a life of constant evolution, but dangerous for the balance of all the actors: Economic, social, and environmental. There are very ambitious and laudable goals on part of the United Nations, and genuine work on the part of the industry and the education sector. But when combining knowledge, collaborations, and groups of work, a very complex task is observed, which is gradually developed and even without being able to clarify the scenario to take the most appropriate actions.
