ABSTRACT

The purpose of this chapter is to analyze the evolution of leadership as a concept and as a function of the actions of the leader and of various characters who have been considered leaders throughout the world due to their importance, which was observed from the knowledge management, carried out by each one of these leaders in their great events. The methodology used was documentary, since a search for scientific articles was carried out in journals indexed in Scopus, considering leadership and knowledge management as the main variables. Among the results found, we can mention that the leaders cited had characteristics such as values, determinism, discipline, and focus on the common good. It is worth mentioning that the evolution observed was not dependent on time if we want to talk about transformational leadership,
