ABSTRACT
I am Urmi Buragohain, a placemaking practitioner from the state of Assam in Northeast India, with a background in architecture and urban planning. After completing my postgraduate studies in India, I, along with my husband, migrated to Australia in 2003. Having lived and worked for almost two decades overseas, we decided to return to our roots.
