ABSTRACT
The chapter highlights the importance of Lesson Study in addressing the research gap in implementing the 21st-century curriculum and the need to address the effects of Industry 4.0 on education. Lesson Study can be used as a collaborative teacher development approach to teach the 21st-century curriculum, improve student skills, and the ability to use AI and e-learning tools to improve teaching efficiency. The chapter emphasises the importance of mastering knowledge and skills for lesson observation and assessment literacy for conducting Lesson Studies. This facilitates the development of teaching methods and AI-supported pedagogies to implement the 21st-century curriculum and to enhance teaching and learning.
